Acumen Insurance is proud to be a part of diverse, inclusive communities. For over 20 years, our staff have been involved in a variety of fundraising events that help us give back to organizations and individuals in our community.
McMaster Children’s Hospital (MCH)
For over two decades, Acumen has hosted an annual golf tournament with 100% of its proceeds going to McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation (MCHF), where one of our staff members is assisting as Director. MCHF hosts various events to raise funding to support the children’s hospital.
Mohawk College
Each year, we provide two Acumen Insurance Bursary Awards to the highest performing students in Mohawk’s insurance program.
Joy and Hope of Haiti
For the past 10 years Acumen Insurance has supported One Mission in their work with The Joy and Hope of Haiti.
Hamilton Association for Recreational and Redevelopment Programs (HARRRP):
Acumen’s president has served as a director of HARRRP, which helps with community programs in high risk neighborhoods, for many years.
St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton
Acumen is an ongoing contributor to St. Joseph’s, which is renowned for its innovation, care and superior research facility.
The Charity of Hope
During the last 5 years, Acumen Insurance has been a regular contributor to Charity of Hope, a local charity for underprivileged youth.
The Good Shepherd
We are honored to provide the Good Shepherd Foundation with support for the Good Shepherd Square Project.
